Née en 1949 à Sétif Algérie d'Yves Latil né lui-même en Algérie en 1909, fils de Félix Latil né à Valbelle (04)en 1861, fils lui-même de Pierre Latil né vers 1821, je constate que rien n'apparaît concernant " cette branche algérienne qui a donné pourtant d'assez nombreux descendants vivant actuellement en France, dont mon frère Eric Latil, mon cousin Jean-Noêl Latil etc...Qui pourait me dire pourquoi mon ancêtre est parti en Algérie:(pauvreté, cause politique ou autre?)Un grand merci d'avance.

I am Michael Brogan Latil, son of John Brogan Latil, decendent of Alexander Antoine Thimecourt de Latil our first American ancestor. I was born New Orleans, LA 1954.
I wish my French was better but I really enjoy learning about the Latil's in France. I am already pretty well versed on the Latil's over here though I never mind learning more.
